Our DE&I/EDI Consultant - Meeta Gandhi:
With more than 30 years of experience in the federal, municipal, and private sectors, Meeta has a wealth of knowledge in communications, human resources, strategic initiatives, customer service and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
She leads DEI initiatives, including the development of DEI strategies and supports organizations from human resources and communications perspectives in the implementation of DEI activities.
Meeta is a sought-after speaker on DEI matters at conferences and workshops and she incorporates DEI in leadership courses she instructs.
In addition to supporting Griffin Jewellery Design in its DEI initiatives, Meeta has a leadership role with the Town of East Gwillimbury, and leads the equity, diversity, and inclusion portfolio at the Town.
Before joining EG, Meeta was a Director with the City of Richmond Hill, and previously worked for the federal government in various roles including communications, administration, and program delivery.
In addition to her work in the municipal sector, Meeta is an associate with Redbrick Communications, an instructor with AMCTO, and is a member of the Board of Directors for Yellow Brick House which provides shelter and support for women and children impacted by violence.
Meeta has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto, a Public Relations Certificate from Ryerson University and a Diploma in Public Administration from Western University.
